Legal Help for Real Problems — Clear Advice, Practical Next Steps
Whether you are dealing with a builder who has not delivered, a consumer complaint, a police or criminal matter, a property dispute, or a question of your constitutional rights — the first step is understanding where you stand. With more than 25 years at the Bar, I explain the law in plain terms and handle the matter through to its conclusion.
Matters I Handle
Most people come with a problem, not a legal category. These are the situations I most often deal with, and where they are usually decided.
Builder & Homebuyer Disputes
Delayed possession, refund with interest, changes from the promised layout or brochure, and orders that the builder has not complied with.
Forums: RERA, Consumer Commissions, execution proceedings
Consumer Complaints
Rejected insurance claims, bank and credit card disputes, defective products, deficient services, and unfair trade practices.
Forums: District, State & National Consumer Commissions (e-Jagriti)
Criminal & Police Matters
Bail, FIRs and police complaints, cheque bounce cases, quashing petitions, and defence at trial.
Forums: Trial courts, Sessions Court, High Court
Property & Civil Disputes
Land and possession disputes, recovery of money, agreements that have gone wrong, and civil suits and appeals.
Forums: Civil courts, appellate courts
Constitutional & Public Law
Action or inaction by a government authority, violation of fundamental rights, public interest matters, and special leave petitions.
Forums: Supreme Court, High Courts
Notices, Agreements & Compliance
Legal notices and replies, agreements and contracts, and regulatory compliance advice for individuals and small businesses.
Often resolves the issue before it reaches court

Common Questions
Do I need to come to Delhi to discuss my matter?
No. The first discussion can take place by phone or WhatsApp. Meetings at the chamber in Patiala House Court can be arranged when needed.
How are fees decided?
Fees depend on the nature of the matter, the forum, and the work involved. They are discussed openly and agreed in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprises later.
Can I file a consumer complaint without a lawyer?
Yes. The law allows consumers to file and argue their own complaints, including online through e-Jagriti. Many people do so successfully with good preparation. Legal help is most useful when the facts are complex, the amount is large, or the other side is contesting strongly.
How long will my case take?
It depends on the forum, the other side's conduct and the court's workload. No honest advocate can promise a date, but I will give you a realistic estimate once I have seen the facts, and keep you informed at each stage.
Will what I share be kept confidential?
Yes. Information about your matter is treated in confidence. Until I confirm that I will act for you, please share only a brief summary. See the Privacy Policy.
Discuss Your Matter
Tell me briefly what you are facing. I will listen, explain the legal position in plain terms, and outline the practical next steps — with no obligation to proceed.
When you write, please mention your city, what has happened, what you want to achieve, and any upcoming court date or deadline.
